The Mews Hotel - Wakefield

The units are opulent, newly remodelled.

Everything was very comfortable, attentive stuff, particularly nice views onto a pretty private garden. Central location near the restaurant as well as Wakefield, it was in a very nice area. Tried some takeout specials at Central Fish Bar, luckily it was just a short stroll away from the venue.

Excellant breakfast option with toast and hot scrambled eggs or bacon unexpectedly offered up, for example. Quiet location next to eating area, free parking on site...

Good hotel with free parking, a cozy bar/lounge area, and delicious food. I still remember how the staff helped me with printing during my first stay.

Quirky place to stay for 1 day. Compact room, a hairdryer and guest toiletries in the room.

The Mews Hotel had a lovely atmosphere, with charming decor and easy accessibility. The staff were attentive, quickly providing assistance when needed as a senior woman.

Better soundproofing between rooms would be beneficial.

The food was really good, especially the chicken tikka starter, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.

the shower had poor water pressure.

The character of the place is a real delight! The extensive dinner menu offers amazing options and the atmosphere is just fab.

I fell in love with this cozy little spot! The food was fabulous, with each dish bringing my taste buds to life-the homemade lamb pie was a standout. The atmosphere reminded me of home, thanks to the friendly staff.

A little gem of a hotel! The room was super comfy and opened onto this nice courtyard garden. The pub is really great too, had an amazin dinner on friday night and the chef deserves lots of compliments. The staff were friendly. Location is perfect for a little getaway!

Only downside was the limited onsite parking and front of house could be a bit warmer. Kinda felt a little neglected when we first arrived.

The cozy environment offers a lovely setting with plenty of parking. The kitchen staff impress with their delicious meals made from fresh ingredients, although reserving a table is crucial due to high demand. The noise from the nearby road during the night and unresponsive service regarding a poorly served breakfast left much to be desired. While the overall experience had its highlights, a few service issues overshadowed some of the positives.

Just a top selection for a weekend trip in Wakefield with good value for the price. My cozy room had a lovely terrace where I enjoyed my morning coffee. Bring a good book for peace on the terrace in the evenings.

We visited a nearby museum and explored some local shops. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with a lovely staff was great. Rooms were clean and cozy, and the atmosphere was friendly.

The only downside was that my room was quite close to the main bar area, so it got a bit noisy late at night.
